IT Support Engineer / 1st & 2nd Line Support Engineer required for a leading automotive manufacturing company based in Crumlin, South Wales paying a salary of up to £30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
IT SUPPORT ENGINEER / 1ST & 2ND LINE SUPPORT ENGINEER
UP TO £30,000 PER ANNUM

BLACKWOOD / CRUMLIN, SOUTH WALES
MON - FRI 39 HRS PER WEEK (EARLY FINISH ON FRI)
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a well established manufacturing organisation as they go through a period of growth and expansion.
The successful IT Support Engineer will provide effective IT assistance across all areas of the business, including out of hours support (occasional). This role will be responsible for supporting the Help desk and the installation of PC hardware and peripheral media across the site, as well as being involved in a broad range of IT projects and activities.
Duties will include:
·Supporting IT projects
·Diagnosing and resolve technical issues
·Providing desktop and server support
·Maintaining the Microsoft Server / Desktop environment
·Rolling out new IT equipment, including installing / configuring desktops and laptops
·Monitoring IT security
·Fault finding hardware and software issues
·Completing any internal moves, include phones and Internet
·Ensuring accurate logs of all IT processes and created and maintained
Required skills and experience:
·Relevant IT qualification
·Experience of ERP systems (SAGE would be desirable)
·Experience of working with Windows 10 & Windows servers
·Knowledge of virtualised systems
·Experience of Office 365 & Office 2013
·Configuring & maintaining McAfee
·Experience of rolling out IT projects and equipment across site
This is a stand alone roles, so the successful candidate will have a strong background working in a similar role and enjoy working in a fast paced environment and using their initiative.
