Senior Business Analyst

About the job
Senior Business Analyst sought to work on multiple project types and complexity. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for line managing up to four Business and Junior Business Analysts i.e. supporting and mentoring, enforcing standards and promoting high performance and consistency. This will be achieved by coaching, training and performance reviews which will take, approximately 25% of your time and requires high levels of motivation and organization skills.

The Senior Business Analyst will lead business analysis on individual projects or have oversight over a number of projects, ensuring that detailed business requirements are gathered, documented and signed off by clients. You will oversee the solution throughout the project lifecycle, operating as an interface between business and technical departments.

About you
The Senior Business Analyst will have proven business analysis experience including Requirements Re-engineering, Stakeholder Management and Process Mapping. You will also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office as well as being an experience coach who can develop less experienced Business Analysts.

A good mix of the following would be advantageous: IIBA or CBAP (or equivalent) accredited; ISEB (or equivalent) Business Analysis Qualification; BA degree (or equivalent) with demonstrable experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; experience in project management principles, practices, techniques and tools (including facilitation, organization and motivation); proven experience in the Financial Services Sector (specifically mortgage / 2nd charge/ unsecured lending markets or Investments markets (in particular ISA's, Direct Deposit and Structured Investments); Process Mapping & Use case (UML) experience; experience of "Lean" Process Methodologies; Line Management experience.

In you will receive a salary of between £45,000 and £48,000 plus a profit related bonus scheme, 24 days annual leave and life assurance of four times your salary. On completion of the probationary period you can join the group pension plan and obtain up to a 6% match contribution into your pension plan.
