Test Lead - strong automation experience, people management
This is a highly-technical role, and would suit someone who is looking to be challenged on a daily basis, whilst continually developing skills in all the latest tools and tech.
They develop a suite of cloud-based software solutions for clients in the US. They are working with cutting edge technologies (their platforms are built on .NET and Java technologies) and they’re a quality-focused team.
You’ll be responsible for the overall design and execution of automated testing of data-based and web-based products. You will be managing the testing team of both manual and automation Test Analysts to ensure the overall testing function and individual team members are working to the best of their ability. This is to ensure that testing aims are being met, and ultimately helping to provide better quality products. This will include helping the existing team to develop their skills and mentoring new employees to the team. It is essential that you have previous and clearly demonstrable people management experience.
Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working with technical and non-technical colleagues on a daily basis.

You will be expected to the following skills or technologies:
** Experience leading a fast-paced testing team (this is essential)
** Confidence in ensuring that best automation testing practices are met
** Automation testing of web products (including performance, stress and load testing)
** Experience of working with an OOP model (Object Orientated Programming)
** Page Object Model design pattern in Selenium
** Experience using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
** Knowledge of testing cloud-based technologies
** Database testing
