Application Support Analyst- Global Manufacturer
This is an opportunity to work for one of Scotland’s most notable Manufacturing companies as they look to bolster their Application Support team after going through a recent restructure and move to a shared services model. Due to this they are looking for someone who has experience supporting a wide range of applications e.g. Cognos, JDE, SAP, Oracle, Office 365 etc.
This role is technically varied role and will present an opportunity to assist a Scottish company in a vital period of change. You will gain exposure to a range of new technologies and be given the opportunity to grow your IT knowledge, supporting business critical applications.
We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background in supporting bespoke applications with the ability to communicate with users across all levels of the business.
Key Skills and Experience:
** Ability to review and implement change requests
** Demonstrable experience in an Application Analyst, Business Systems analyst type role
** Change Management, Problem Management and Incident Management experience
** Knowledge of the installation, configuration and management of applications such as IIS, JD Edwards, SQLServer, Apache, and Tomcat
** Scripting Ability within one of the following: Korn, Bourne ,Bash or Powershell
The ideal candidate will be forward thinking, capable of working independently as well as in a very skilled team. The client is doing a lot of interesting work during a period of extensive change within the business.
