IT Support Manager
The head office is in Brownhills, Walsall and they have over 900 locations across UK with over 10,000 employees. This dynamic and growing organisation are currently transforming IT throughout the business, replacing their core systems and updating all their infrastructure. Alongside this, they are looking to implement formal processes, standardise procedures and mature their IT environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Manager to use their knowledge and experience to formalise the Service Desk, adopt best practices and put in place appropriate governance. The role will see you managing a team of 4 Support Analysts and an external service provider. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Service Desk, managing major incidents and ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met.
You will form part of the Senior Leadership team and help shape the future of IT throughout the business. There is massive scope for the right person to make their mark and influence the strategic direction of IT & support.
