IT Support Assistant
Managing the assets by being accountable for the database updates and reliability. ?
Backing up the servers by monitoring the daily jobs (ARCserve Backup) and troubleshooting jobs that didn’t work. ?
Day-to-day Support on hardware, software, mobiles and landlines. ?
Logging queries on the internal helpdesk and updating call logs. ?
Management of e-mail accounts, server storage and access. ?
PC, Server & Printer Set-up/Installation. ? Application Support for Microsoft desktop products. ?
Provide holiday and sickness cover for IT Network, application and administration support as and when necessary. ?
Source IT hardware when necessary. ? Maintaining Virtual Servers/ Desktops
Basic hours of work 08:00 to 16:45 Mon to Thurs & 08:00 to 12:00 Fri – Total 37 Hours per week basic
Overtime is paid - conditional (payable as and when required – after completion of basic contractual hours per week)
Holiday 4 week 1 day in first year of employment (pro – rata / contractual basic week)
