Business Analyst
A City based (EC3) Fintech company with a revolutionary software product, set to change the Banking Industry, are looking to recruit an experienced Business Analyst to work on an Open Banking and PSD2 Project. This is an initial 6 month contract or there is the possibility of a permanent position.
Role & Responsibilities:
·Undertake business analysis and gather business requirements
·Gap analysis
·Process and Product mapping and documentation
·Create detailed documentation of relevant requirements and collected information
·Understand business change needs, assess the impact and develop change methods, documenting requirements tools, standards and governance to support delivery of such requirement.
·Regulatory reporting
·Work alongside Project or Program managers and important internal and external stakeholders to ensure programs are being well developed and implemented effectively.
·Distribute reports in a timely and effective manner to ensure all stakeholders are liaised with at all times and relevant information is provided.
·Ensure delivery on budget, to time frames and expectations
Essential Skills & Experience:
·Experience in the financial sector working for a regulated institution (preferably a bank) in an operations function; retail banking, private banking, credit card processing or back office payments processing
·Experience of Open Banking and PSD2
·Experience working in an Agile software development environment a definite plus
·Able to produce a project definition/project initiation document clearly defining scope and project objectives
·Experience and knowledge in the payments industry would be beneficial, using SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments, and SEPA (STC, SDD). ISO 20022 / Card Payments
·Great administrative skills and documentation processing abilities.
·Excellent Business Analysis skills, good report writing abilities and consistent research methodology techniques
·Track record of delivering change programs/projects
·Proficient IT user with a clear understanding of relevant products such as Microsoft Office
·BA/Analytical degree desirable
·£450 - £500 per day or £75,000 per annum
