1st Line IT Service Desk Analyst
We are SCC - Specialist Computer Centres, Europe's largest privately owned IT Services provider.
We are now seeking a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst to be based at head office in Birmingham supporting a new customer .
The 1st Line Service Desk Analyst is responsible for supporting our client's internal users on their desktop environment.
The role of 1st Line Service Desk analyst is first line call handling, by taking calls from the clients internal users, following agreed scripts to effect a first call fix to computer equipment , where applicable, and logging the call information on the Service Desk online Management tool. When a 1st line fix cannot be achieved you will be responsible for passing the ticket to the relevant support team in order to resolve the incident.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
* Experience of working within a Service Desk environment.
* OR keen interest in IT and looking to pursue a career in IT .
* Excellent telephone manner.
* A customer-orientated approach with excellent communication skills.
37.5 Hours per week and 23 days' holiday togeteher with other large company benefits .
