Grad - Senior .Net Developers - Up to £55,000 - Hybrid Working (Edinburgh) - Financial Services
Overview:
A leading financial services company operating within the Wealth Management space are looking for multiple mid-senior level .Net Developers to join one of their growing teams in Edinburgh.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Development of C# backend services for Portfolio Management (financial services), which provide RESTful APIs and integrate other services and databases.
• Initially, the role will involve upgrading the technology used by an existing large ASPX application while continuing to develop new functionality.
• Thereafter, the role will involve development of new features while making gradual improvements to software performance and reliability.
• The backend application to be maintained and improved is a C# application with SQL backend, with API and RabbitMQ integrations to other significant applications.
• The purpose of the backend applications is to support the investing platform, so much of the client's backend development relates to implementation of a mathematical design.
Technical Requirements:
• 2 or more years C# .NET programming experience
• Experience with both .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Experience building RESTful API services.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, in particular) and/ or document databases (e.g. MongoDB).
Desirable:
• Commercial experience with React.
• Relative financial services industry experience.
