The Regulatory Control team within GFS has responsibility for calculating and reporting the Group's Risk Weighted Assets and other regulatory capital information. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Securitisations sub team within Regulatory Consolidation and securitisations team, part of Regulatory Control. The Securitisations sub team are responsible for the calculation of Risk Weighted Assets and other securitisation specific disclosures for external reporting purposes in accordance with technical regulatory rules and guidance.We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking candidate. The role would suit a finance professional with a track record of success in Financial Reporting roles, with strong Excel and communication skills. Experience of Regulatory Reporting is not a requirement, though advantageous. OVERVIEW OF ROLE - What's involved? The role requires the colleague to support the consolidation of Regulatory Capital Reporting and associated Data Governance processes. The position involves consolidation of data, preparation of robust MI and establishing and maintaining effective relationships across GFS and the Divisions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support delivery of robust consolidated risk weighted asset MI for internal / external stakeholders within agreed timelines Consolidation and delivery of robust data quality reporting Establish and build strong relationships with stakeholders including presenting at senior stakeholder meetings Understand issues as they arise, communicating and facilitating resolution, Interpretation and application of technical guidance Maintain a robust control environment Strong evidence of continuous improvement and efficiencies, pro-actively identifying improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures. Engage with stakeholder teams to understand the wider impact of process changes and ensure a collaborative outcome. Key skills and experience: You have, or are studying towards a professional finance qualification (or qualified by experience) You also have a practical understanding of financial systems and processes with the ability to use and manipulate data and present information to inform business decisions You can plan, organise and prioritise your workload with the ability to identify and implement flexibility in plans when required You have good interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate closely with colleagues across teams, departments and levels You have the ability to implement change using a confident and collaborative approach What you'll get in return...
