CV-Library in partnership with the NSPCC

We are supporting the NSPCC in its fight to end child abuse and neglect in the UK.

Why the NSPCC?

Part of our company's vision is to promote a fast-paced, exciting and supportive working environment for driven individuals to thrive. We believe every child deserves an exciting and supportive upbringing too, but tragically this is not the case for all. By supporting the NSPCC, we're able to share our people's drive, ambition, skills and energy to make a difference beyond our daily roles.

About the NSPCC

The NSPCC is a leading children's charity working tirelessly to prevent abuse from ever happening, protect children at risk and help those who have been abused to rebuild their lives. Founded over 130 years ago, the NSPCC strives to make children across the UK and Channel Islands safer by working in schools, running national helplines, including Childline for children and young people, and providing therapeutic services - all to protect children and prevent abuse.

Our commitment to the NSPCC

Since 2022 we have committed to donating £25,000 to the NSPCC every year.

On top of that, our awesome fundraising team hold regular events throughout the year for staff and customers to get involved in. From office cake sales and raffles to mud runs and physical challenges, there are many opportunities to make a difference. We love a challenge, so if you have a new idea, please let us know!

How can you get involved?

We would love our customers to work with us to smash our target and make a real difference to children suffering across the UK. Please contact your Account Manager if you'd like to get involved with any of our events or make a one-off donation here.

The NSPCC has their own calendar full of even more exciting events, from marathons and cycling challenges to skydives and ultramarathon treks. If you would like to represent CV-Library and secure a space at one of these individual challenges, please email events@cv-library.co.uk.

Where does our money go?

We have chosen to specifically raise money for Childline, a confidential 24-hour helpline that gives children a voice when no one else is listening.

Childline counsellors are there for young people every day of the year. Whatever issue young people are going through, no matter how big or small, they are here to listen and help. As well as online 1-2-1 counselling, children and young people can also speak to Childline counsellors by email or calling 0800 1111. On the Childline website they can explore a range of other useful Childline tools and advice for all sorts of issues they may be dealing with too.

On average, a child contacts Childline every 45 seconds

In 2022/23, 195,542 counselling sessions were delivered to children and young people

Mental and emotional health and suicidal thoughts and feelings are the top two concerns

By raising money for Childline we will help this invaluable service continue to run 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year
